Open House

It was wonderful meeting all of you tonight! Thank you to those that handed in the student information page and the "Who Am I?" page at Open House. If you did not, please send these in any time the first week of school. Also, please read the information in your child's Open House folder and let me know if you have any questions. The paperwork on the left side of the folder should be returned to school and I will send it to the office.
This semester our class is lucky to have Mrs. LaHuis joining us as a student teacher from Ferris University. Many of you were able to meet her tonight. Here is a letter that tells a bit more about Mrs. LaHuis.

Welcome to 2nd Grade!

I am so excited to meet each one of you at Open House. Our Open House is Wednesday, August 27 from 6:30-7:30. This will be a time to see our classroom, meet your teacher, and also say hello to old and new friends. If you are unable to attend, I will send home your child's information the first day of school in a folder. Here is a suggested supply list for 2nd graders.

The following are items that we use a lot in our classroom. If you would like to donate, please bring items to Open House or anytime to school.

• Lysol wipes
• Hand sanitizer
• Ziploc bags (sandwich, snack, quart, and gallon)
• Peanut-free snacks 
• Post-It notes
• Cotton Balls
